A recent DAZED article stated that we were stuck in a cycle of replicating the past to avoid the severity of the present. The Facade Party project explores the current obsession with nostalgia. In the digital age, each «archetype» is strictly documented and is later ironicly copied by designers such as Demna. I worked with the romanticization of the early 2010s and the decorativeity of the present nostalgia.
