The Rescue Palitra History of Rescue Suit Development. Artistic, sociocultural, technological features
The study is based on the hypothesis that the colour of lifeguards and firefighters is due to a number of historical, sociocultural and psychological reasons. The aim of the study is to analyse design decisions about the colour of rescuers and firefighters, as well as to identify patterns of form modification due to possible historical and sociocultural factors.

The study describes both the general history of firefighters and the separate history of costumes, helmets, and breast signs. The lifeguard’s story is combined with the Geraldica, and the lifeguard’s costume is also placed in a separate chapter.
