AD Extremum
This presentation includes some screenshots and the trailer for Ad Extremum — a relaxing survival adventure game with a strong focus on environmental storytelling.
My velbot is fast, but its movement is somewhat cumbersome. The constant danger of hitting shards of ice or underwater currents keeps me on the edge of passing out. I have to hold on… to stay awake. If I’m exhausted and lose control of the boat, I’ll sink to the bottom at once.
When lights fade, my surroundings blur and give way to recollections of the tragedy. The sight of dead ships and abandoned campsites fills me with a sense of guilt. What have I done?
A giant whale leads the captain into the bowels of the icy nowhere. Is the monster real? Or is it his tortured conscience playing tricks on him?
