A plastic rod for 3D printing was used in the manufacture of the lamps. This material, which is usually used for prototyping, is similar to willow vine, a traditional material of Russian vine weaving. The plastic is translucent, and the light passing through the lampshade displays the weaving pattern in the space of the room.

The project uses a 1.75 mm plastic SBS rod for 3D printing, painted plywood, polyester cord, steel and plastic fittings.

As a child, I watched my grandfather weave baskets from willow vines. I restored his weaving technique and just imagined what would happen if a flexible plastic rod fell into his hands.
«Tropes» is my project about love, memory and gratitude.
The project includes three lamps, manufactured in 2024 in a single copy:
— Floor lamp, 1800 mm × 900 mm × 320 mm, weight 12 kg, price 70,000 rubles.
— Table cylindrical lamp, 270 mm × 165 mm × 165 mm, weight 0.4 kg, price 10,000 rubles.
— Round floor-table lamp, 200 mm × 200 mm × 150 mm, weight 0.4 kg, price 20,000 rubles.
