The Body and the Corporality in Fashion Photography

The project is dedicated to the theme of the body and posing at the intersection of art and fashion photography. I have been interested in this topic for a long time, and this project is a continuation of my visual researches made in 2020/22. As part of the project I conducted 10 fashion photo sessions. The aim was to create a kind of metaphorical photo-plot, which has become the result of working with the model, giving freedom to express oneself in the space that I chose, and creating the images by the stylists. The interpretations of the presented photographs can be multifaceted. My task was to give the viewer the ground for the thought’s flight. Everyone can see something special in this project: for someone it is an escape from reality, for someone it is a rebellion and a challenge, an attempt to break stereotypes or a metaphor for finding oneself in a particular space, finding one’s place in life and in the world. The result of the project is a photo book of sixty photographs.
